One expects her to be beautiful. The lingerie, the pose. But she isn’t classic, despite the hair, despite night-attire. Her eccentricity is the unusual. A cushy- near fluorescent orange kangaroo; known, recognized and slightly special. She appreciates such things. Unusual appreciation of something visually interesting, but something one is slightly unsure of. Like the aboriginal art that suits the kangaroo so well. Is it yams dreaming? Or is it another kind of Dreamtime.

February 26, 20081. Grey skies are going to clear up! Put on a happy face… Sometimes we just need the reassurance. Hold onto something, there are people, there are emotions here that create a true smile. One smile, fine, because it’s expected. Pain experienced, confidence shaken by actions, can be eased from inside. Feeling comfort that is offered to envelop, let the warmth wrap.
2. 1 bra, 2 bra, 3 bra 4. I have to replace my favorites. There is a tale behind the broken straps, worn bands, that make me get a new one; start over. Bra 1, a case of laughable exposure. A touch of cringe. Here goes:







1st plunge
February 26, 2008They met at the bar in downtown. Sam’s Cafe was one of the only night open places where in the uber influential town you could go to meet other people seeking people. If you were in the front bar, it meant you were a little out of place and looking. Not in the restaurant and sitting down, but awkwardly mingling. First walking into the front with what strut you could muster, and diving for the bar oasis, teeming with lipstick, black heels, and top buttons undone.
